MTA became member and silver sponsor of the Serbia Green Building Council 2012

MTA SpA, as a member and sponsor of Serbia 2012 Green Building Council (SRGBC), will participate as exhibitor at the Green Building Expo in Belgrade, Serbia February 23 to 25 '12 (booth Belexpocentar n.31).

The World Green Building Council is a union of national Councils, whose mission is to accelerate the transformation of the building environment towards ever increasing sustainability.

Currently there are 74 national Green Building Councils within the global GBC network. Green Building Councils lead the shift towards building in a sustainable and responsible manner by educating industry leaders, consulting with policy makers and sharing knowledge and best practices within the global GBC Network.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) developed the LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), a standard which is now applied in over 100 countries worldwide.

The LEED standards elaborated by USGBC define requirements for the environmentally sustainable construction of buildings, both as regards energy consumption and the consumption of all environmental resources required in the process of creating a building: to adopt the LEED protocol means to adopt the universal system accepted and created for the certification of buildings that are designed, constructed and managed in a sustainable and efficient manner.

Anyone in the world who is involved in sustainable building, communicates with the language of the LEED system.
