MTA, in the whitewater sport centre Dutch Water Dreams, in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, installed two heat pumps HAS 195/SSN, in collaboration with the local HVAC distributor, Interclima.


Thanks to their extreme noiselessness and the double functionality, chiller and heat pump, the units are perfectly integrated in this sport complex, that expands on a total 40.000 m2 suface (outdoor and indoor), and where there are also bar, restaurants and shops.

The two units, connected to nine air handling units, produce a total cooling capacity of 360 kW, in chiller mode, and a total heating capacity of 380 kW, in heating mode, fulfilling the requirements of the entire building, both during summer period and the winter time.


The defrosting function, Adaptive Defrosting AD, allows to optimize the defrosting cycles of the units, reducing their number and increasing consequently the efficiency of the units.

Particular technical devices, like the increased condensing surface, low speed fans and the acoustical insulation of the compressors housing, allow to reach a sound power level of 78,9 dB(A), that makes these units the most silent in their category.
