For its Venice-Mestre headquarters, Poste Italiane (the Italian postal service) has chosen to install two MTA chillers.
Among its various duties, this office plays a particularly strategic role because it is responsible for the facilities service of all postal service properties in northeast Italy.

To maximise staff comfort levels Poste Italiane decided to update aging legacy systems, replacing the two original chillers serving the various wings of the building.

The construction characteristics of the two new units are different:

the chiller installed on the lower ground floor is an MTA Aquarius Plus AQP N 3202 (see photo), equipped with two screw compressors, R134 A refrigerant, and an EER value of more than 5.05 (Eurovent certification class A); 
this unit is a water-cooled chiller that replaces an aging unit with outdated characteristics.

The second unit is an ARIES AS 319 SSN (Super Silent version): an air-cooled chiller (installed on the roof: see photo) with heat recovery exchanger, chosen because of its characteristics of extremely quiet operation and exceptional performance levels.
In addition, thanks to the dual circuit on the water side and air side, this chiller provides extreme flexibility and very high operating safety standards.
This prestigious installation marks another important milestone for MTA and goes to increase an already generous list of References and Customers, accumulated thanks to the superb quality of MTA products and the unflinching resolve of the company's personnel.
